Summer Series is all wrapped up! Wednesday’s Crypto-Score was a great way to finish. Each control was at a street sign, the name of the street forming a clue to select the correct answer. We had a great turnout, and most people stayed on to enjoy the fantastic BBQ, and the presentation of awards. Monday and Wednesday series certificates were presented, along with medallions for winners and placegetters in the Champs.
The prestigious course setter of the year winner was Ted van Geldermalsen, for his Port Melbourne course. Judge Judi called it a “standout”. Commended courses were set by Paul Monks, Rachel Johnson, and Peter Collins. We also awarded Millennium Club certificates and keyrings to our 8 new Legends.
Winter series starts next Monday with the new TargetO format, and continues on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. CakeO returns on Saturdays, beginning in April.
Season tickets will be on sale from next week. This is a great time to join a club if you are not already a member, to take advantage of the discounts, which more than pay for the low cost of membership. Please note that entry on the day has increased to $5 for adults, but remains at $2 for juniors (under 21).
