Ballarat Triple Sprint Weekend

Triple your fun at the final weekend of Sprint Into Spring! Featuring three races on three different terrains, the weekend culminates in the Victorian Sprint Championships.  Pre-entry has closed, but a limited number of enter on day maps are available – see the Final Event Information via the link above.  This link also contains terrain notes, driving and parking directions, start procedure, and everything else you need to know.

The Championships will be held at Ballarat Grammar School, Forest Road, Wendouree, and will feature live commentary and instant results as you cross the line!  Start times are pre-allocated with the first start at 10am – check your start time via the link above.   Please note that you only need to check in at Registration if you need to pay and/or collect a hired SI stick.

Warm up for the Champs on Saturday November 30, as Eureka Orienteers stage the final two Sprint Into Spring races, which will determine the final Jersey Points and overall series winners.  Race 7 is at Damascus College (Ballarat-Buninyong Road (C294), Mount Clear), with starts from 12.30-1.30pm.  Then we move across to Mt Clear Secondary College (Olympic Avenue, Mount Clear) and the adjoining Canadian Forest for Race 8, with starts from 3.30-4.30pm. Registration for both races opens at Damascus at 11.30am.  We’ll have the usual three courses on offer.  Pre0entry has how closed, but you can still enter on the day.

Presentations for the Championships, the overall Sprint Into Spring winners, and the Jersey competition, will be made on Sunday, so stay around and enjoy!
