An EndurO is a long distance urban navigation race, in Melbourne parks and streets. Using a map with 40 pre-marked checkpoints (called Controls), the challenge is to find as many as you can in the allocated time. At each Control, you will need to correctly answer a multiple choice question. Some controls are worth more than others, so you’ll need to plan your route to maximise your point score, and get back before the cutoff time. You’ll lose points for incorrect answers and late return.
Our next EndurO is on Saturday August 8, in Ferntree Gully. You can choose the 120 min course or the 75 min course, and you can Run or Power Walk. Entry fee is just $4 for adults and $2 for juniors. No pre-entry is required; arrive 30 mins prior to the starting time, to register and pay. You can compete singly, in pairs, or in small groups. This event is ideal for families; please keep dogs on leads at all times.
