We’re delighted to announce that Victoria will be hosting a multirace Sprint Carnival in March 2016! There’ll be six races in three days, over the Labor Day weekend. Most of the races will be National Orienteering League (NOL) events together with a full program of public races, so the best of Australian sprinting will be making their way south to match it with our very talented local orienteers. Venues are still being decided, but two days will feature races in Melbourne suburbs, and the other day will be in Geelong.
Our Carnival needs a name – and we’re offering a prize of free entry to the person who comes up with the name which the organising committee selects (note that the committee reserves the right not to select a winner if it deems no names to be suitable). Please forward your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org, no later than April 30.
